Art and culture have long been considered as the important role in people social life from previous until nowadays. Today, some people hold the view is that the government funding should not be payed for supporting art and culture while some those believe is that promote the culture term may be have benefits for the citizens also culture point. This essay will discuss these views in depth and give my opinion.
The first view is just right in some extents. First of all, in the developing country, it may have many fields which should need to be promoted to develop nation such as economy, industry or society. Therefore, the necessary sector is that the government should spend more funding for investing in what industries fields their country needs and enhance standard life of their citizens than other activities. For example, in Africa, if the government spend too much money of their funding for promoting their culture and art, they will do not have sufficient budget for balancing their citizens life. It is terrible that local dwellers will live under the poverty line just due to the wrong decision of government in investing. Moreover, art and culture reflect the creation of people throughout many centuries, so they have their own value. People can suppose is that art and culture will develop themselves in natural life day by day because human always have continuous innovation in their life which help the life become perfectly. Thus, the government may do not need to use an excess of funding for supporting art and culture.
When the second view put into the consideration, it is convincing in some sides. As regard, in some developed countries, young people seem to tend to lack care art and their culture. It can be seen is that in modern society, people, especially young generation just over concentrate on the internet and rarely go outside to take part in traditional activities or come to art galleries to enjoy a work of art. This is important prioritize for government to use their budget to promote their culture also their interesting art campaign. It is a possible way to attract young people to learn more about nation traditional and priceless art which their country has. In addition, if art and culture will be developed by government, it will be become one of the attraction points for oversea travelers to come and study about. Obviously, when many people desire to discover cultural features of this nation, the tourism of this country may develop and gain their reputation with various places in the world.
In conclusion, some people suggest that the government budget should not be spend on supporting art and culture, but others think supporting cultural activities may usefully for the population and the culture, these views may have both side advantages and disadvantages. However, in my opinion the first view is more overweight than other because it brings the property and welfare for citizens life and it is the effective way for government to have developmental country.
