Question

  It is claimed that the most priority in creating a house or an apartment is its utility. While I accept that a building needs to enough the internal functions, I would argue that the external presence of building is also equally crucial.

  On the one hand, I believe that it is necessary for a building has adequately functioned to use. Firstly, people always want to have their own house that comprises of/ consist of some convenient facilities. For example, a family with 4 members, if each one holds a private room, they will feel more comfortable to do something they want that no one could bother or disturb them. Secondly, those who built properties for earning profit aims need to add more features in order to pay more attention from buyers or tenants to their properties. If a complex has so small space or insufficient facilities that serve basic demands of people, it is not attractive, that would lead to fewer public decide to buy or rent it.

  On the other hand, there are several reasons why the distinctive appearance is the essential element of buildings. The first reason is that a spectacular apartment would be considered as a symbol for the stature of an owner. When having friends or relations come home, they could pound on the stunning of their complex. Additionally, for commercial purposes, the outward presence is more vital. For instance, if a shopping center or a branded shop does not have appealing exterior, it is more difficult to attract customers. As a result, they do not reach ambitious profits as expected.

  In conclusion, while I believe that expanding the utility of buildings is necessary, I would agree that people should similarly focus on the outward in order to construct convenient and magnificent buildings
