Question

Topic: Government should spend money on railways rather than roads?

 

Nowadays, an increasing number of people express concern regarding traffic infrastructure. However, it is a controversial issue that the government should invest in whether railways or roads. In my view, the government needs to pay more attention to railways.

 

First, it is obvious that railway is one of the most essential public transports, which is vastly beneficial to society. This is because it reduces accidents, traffic situation as well as improve resident's health and environment. Therefore, the government should give top priority to build and develop railways system.

 

Moreover, it plays an important role in improving people's living conditions. To illustrate, countries that have modern traffic system also have an advanced economy, which can be named as Japan, Korea and so on.  These countries used to have a similar situation as Viet Nam but now they became developed countries of the world.

 

That is not to say that the government should not spend money on roads. They also are important parts of traffic system, which are necessary for people to take transports. Nevertheless, advantages of roads are far from these of railways.

 

In conclusion, the government should focus on public transport, especially railways. Meanwhile, they should not ignore the roads system. Improving traffic system is one of the best ways to help countries to boost their development.

Hi Hien Chu, bài viết của bạn khá ổn nhưng mình có vài góp ý để cải thiện bài của bạn.

1. Số từ trong bài của bạn là 216 từ. Số lượng từ này thấp hơn so với mức quy định của một bài Writing task 2 trong Ielts. Với lỗi này thì sẽ ảnh hưởng khá lớn đến điểm số của bạn. Mình gợi ý bạn có thể thêm ý hoặc thêm ví dụ vào các phần đển bài có thể dài hơn và đạt đủ số từ tối thiểu là 250 từ. 270-290 là số lượng từ dược khuyến khích khi viết Writing task 2 bạn nha.

2. Có một vài lỗi không đáng mắc phải trong bài:

Firstly, it is obvious that railway is one of the most essential public transports, which (có thể thay bằng that) is vastly beneficial to society. This is because it (không sai nhưng đọc rất gượng gạo, có thể thay bằng It is because that railways) reduces accidents, traffic situation as well as improve resident's health and environment. 

 To illustrate, countries that have modern traffic system also have an advanced economy, which can be named (có thể dung namely)  as Japan, Korea and so on

Bạn nên dùng firstly, secondly rồi mới moreover,..... 

They also are important parts of traffic system, which are ( không cần phẩy và đổi thành which necessary)  necessary for people to take transports. Nevertheless, advantages of roads are far from these of railways.
