The provided line graph compares four kinds of state-of-the-art technologies namely CD player, DVD player, mobile phone and internet connection in households in the United Kingdom during the period of 1994 and 2008.

What stands out from the graph is that while four types of cutting-edge telecommunications gave the same uptrends, cellphone's trend experienced a fluctuation at the first years of the period.

Starting with approximately 50% in 1994/95, CD player was primarily chosen in the Great Britain, and then this figure was broadly two-fold until in 2008. On the other hand, from 1996 to 2003 witnessed a considerable fluctuation in mobile phone before remaining almost unchanged, with just under a massive 80%.

Besides, there was a gradually growth in internet access from a mere of 10% to just less than 65% during the period of 1998 and 2008. It is noticeable that the appearance of DVD player was quickly selected by the British. As a result, the number for DVD player sharply increased between 2002 and 2005, that number remain the higher for most at about 90% in 2008.
