Health care for children

Question

Topic: Children nowadays receive better care than they did in the past. How far do you agree with this opinion?

 

 

These days, with the development of healthcare, many people, especially children, have better health than the past. While the care of the child is more concerned, I believe that there are still some shortcomings in this issue.

It is certainly true that the governments promulgate many laws to improve children’s health. One of the main aims of healthcare is children can have an access to modern care system in all their life. From they were a fetus to they grow up, children usually have a periodic health check and daily nutritional diets. Moreover, a healthy body includes mental and physical health, so caring for children prevents dangerous diseases which have been increased significantly. For example, a newborn baby must be injected by some compulsory vaccines such as tuberculosis and hepatitis B.

On the other hand, I would argue that there is still a large number of children cannot receive deserving care. Firstly, in developing areas, especially in Africa, a lot of children are in grave malnutrition and dies every year. The results can be listed as economic, traditional habits and customs, and low knowledge,…Secondly, young parents do not have enough knowledge to take care their children’s health. These parents have a baby when they were teenagers or under 20, so they may look after with wrong care such as ignore children or feed with unsuitable food…

In conclusion, it seems to me that health care system for children has been developed and affected in several ways compared with before.
