The table shows the average length of Youtube video advertisements by sector and average time watched by viewers.

Accordingly, the length of these advertisements varied from a low of 21,8 for pharmaceuticals to a high of 66,7 for public service advertisement. In general, products and services which require a large financial commitment tended to have longer advertisements. For instance, services related to entertainment, technology or business were all above the average time of 28 seconds. On the other hand, more affordable products and services such as clothing and consumers electronics tended to have shorter time showed on Youtube.

As for average time viewer spent on watching, none of these advertisements could be watched until it ended. However, for those advertisement which promoted expensive items or related to entertainment and public services tended to have longer time of view. In contrast, viewers may skip advertisements for cheaper products such as clothing and medicines.
