Some people say that working at home is beneficial to the worker and the family while others believe that this is stressful to both the worker and the family

 

People have different views about whether processing work at home or in the office. While many people argue that staying at home for working take serious disadvantages to both individuals and family, I believe that this bring significant advantages.

 

To begin with, there are a number of convincing reasons why the white collar should not perform work at home. Firstly, it is easy to perceive that working conditions at home is unequal to that in the office. Lack of facilities might affect the productivity. A good illustration of this is that individuals are likely to confront the risk of delay in progress of the works because computers or laptops cannot be mended by information technology officers at the company in the case of having trouble. This not only lead to a dilemma but also certainly causes stress. Secondly, working at home might have negative impact on the family. In business, meeting customers and partners is essential in support to the credit. Thus, in case of meeting at home, activities of the family tent to suffer from disorder, especially the family has children.

 

Despite of drawbacks, I believe that fulfilling the works at home brings considerable advantages. One of economic benefits is that employees will reduce the cost of living in daily basis. By working at home, the individual reduce the cost of movement everyday such as bus fares or cost of gasoline. From family perspective, another benefit is that the officer are likely to have more time for taking care the children, in particular for mothers. My sister, for example, claims that her working hours is optimized when she decided not to go to the company for working due to the fact that losing two hours by traffic congestion every morning commuting to work, she spends that time on  bringing her children to school.

 

In conclusion, while there are some drawbacks in working at home, I would argue that it is better to stay at home for the works.
