Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always a good thing. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Many individuals feel secured to persistently repeat their custom, some people, however, find enjoyment by ceaselessly trying different things. While both sides are rational to some extent, I am inclined towards the notion of exploring something new.

On the one hand, it is probably less time-consuming, arduous and costly to follow a routine. An obvious example for this might be a person always eats out since his work takes up lots of time. Should he make a change in his habit, he would spend more of both time on cooking and washing the dishes and of money on buying ingredients. Besides, it is uncertain whether or not his cooked dish could be edible. In this case, therefore, maintaining the eating habit is probably an optimal solution regarding his little free time.

On the other hand, human history has proved the accuracy of the quote “new is always better”. Back to 1876 when the first telephone was invented - never before had people been able to talk with someone regardless of their geographical distance - this creation marked a turning point in the way people communicated. Another example of the invention of light  bulb in 1879 turned human civilization to a new page. It is quite true that people would unavoidably end in failure when starting a new trend. However, the intensity of pleasure and satisfaction when their endless attempts become fruitful would be correspondingly thousands times higher. Hence, people had better be open-minded to willingly accept new things.

In conclusion, people are logically right to either follow new trends or fix to their habits. Given what people obtain when they eventually succeed, however, trying new things is quite worthy.
