The glimpse at the line graph provided, illustrated the consumption of convenient food by the youth in Australia between 1975 and 2000.

It is evident that, the line graph below showed the significant decrease in the amount of fish and chips consumed by the Australian teenagers whereas the popularity of these food other foods increased over all the periods.

The consumption of fish and chips provide information about a downward trend, dropping from exactly 100 times eaten in 1975 until it surpassed the consumption of hamburgers in 1985 and pizza in 10 years later. In addition, there was steadily reduction in the amount of fish and chips used by young people in Australia about approximately 40 times consumed per year by 2000.

On the other hand, during 25 years period the expenditure of hamburgers and pizza followed an upward trend. In 1975, the pizza was by far the least of popular of these foods, with about 5 times eaten per year. After 1975 period, its figure went up dramatically to 90 times expended each year (1975 – 2000). Similarly, the following 20 years saw a rapid boom in the consumption of hamburgers about 100 times eaten annually. Therefore, the consumption of the pizza climbed 1.8 times as quickly as that of hamburgers by 25 years.

It is noticeable that the consumption of fish and chips fall continuingly while that of pizza and hamburgers reached steeply from 1975 to 1995 and their amount had no movement in the next 5 years.
