There is a general increase in anti-social behaviors and lack of respect for others.

What are the causes and solutions?

It is true that the amount of anti-social behaviours and lack of respect for others is rising in society today. There are several reasons for this phenomenon, however, there are some effective measures to tackle this problem.

There are two primary factors contributing to the causes of anti-social behaviour  and shortage of respect for others. Firstly, family environment is one of the main causes. Children who grow up in disturbed homes with divorced, drunk or criminal parents often are prone to develop anti-social behaviour and disrespect for others. Without having developed strong bonds of parents, children may be self-absorbed and indifferent to others. Children may lack appropriate role models and learn to use aggression to solve disputes. Consequently, children may fail to develop empathy and concern for those around them. Secondly, social environment is an another reason. People with antisocial personality disorder may be more common in areas with high rates of unemployment and high population, where there is the availability of drugs and crime. In these areas, hostile people may make friends easily and later lead to gang memberships. Activities of gangs may have negative impacts on the community.

Nevertheless, I believe there are many ways that anti-social behaviour is being tackled, both individually and nationally. The first method is the treatment in family, where parents need to support their children with love and care to form personality. Parents should monitor their child’s behavior, set rules and see that they are obeyed, check on the child’s whereabouts, and steer them away from trouble playmates. The second is that governments should have policies to help difficult areas, such as providing free education and health care for the low-income people, creating  job opportunities for youngsters and unemployees. Finally, individuals violating the public order or neighbor nuisance should be fined heavily.

In conclusion, there are two main reasons for anti-social behaviours and lack of respect for others, but some potential remedies as mentioned above should be taken to tackle this issue.

It is true that the amount of anti-social behaviours and lack of respect for others is rising in society today. There are several reasons for this phenomenon, however (what are you contrasting?), there are some effective measures to tackle this problem.

There are two primary factors contributing to the causes of anti-social behaviour  and shortage of respect for others. Firstly, family environment is one of the main causes(I would suggest writing: Firstly, family plays a role in the mentioned problem). Children who grow up in disturbed (broken) homes with divorced, drunk or criminal parents often are prone to develop anti-social behaviour and disrespect for others. Without having developed strong bonds of parents, children may be self-absorbed and indifferent to others. Children may lack appropriate role models and learn to use aggression to solve disputes. Consequently, children may fail to develop empathy and concern for those around them. Secondly, social environment is an another reason. People with antisocial personality disorder may be more common in areas with high rates of unemployment and high (dense) population, where there is the availability of drugs and crime.

Parents should monitor their child’s behavior, set rules and see to it that they are obeyed, check on the child’s whereabouts, and steer them away from trouble playmates. The second (Noun) is that governments should have policies to help difficult areas, such as providing free education and health care for the low-income people, creating  job opportunities for youngsters and unemployees (the unemployed). Finally, individuals violating the public order or neighbor nuisance should be fined heavily.

In conclusion, there are two main reasons for anti-social behaviours and lack of respect for others, but some potential remedies as mentioned above should be taken to tackle this issue.
