Using a computer every day can have more negative than positive effects on children. Do you agree or disagree?

In this era of digital technology, computer plays a vital role to many people. However, to children, habit of using computer everyday makes more harmful influnences than good ones.

On one hand, children’s health is affected in a bad way if they sit with computer day after day. Firstly, due to staring so much at screen, their vision will be reduced after short time. Secondly, except for eyes’ activities, most of other muscle groups are not required to work. Therefore, gradually, children’s physical responses become sluggish and indefinitive. Moreover, if this process lasts long, children also prone to get obesity and trouble in bone developing.

On the other hand, using computer is also the main cause leading to bad result of childen’s study. Though it cannot be denied that some programs and games in computer foster logical thinking in children, they themselves addict the naïve souls and impart thought deviation. For example, many games created for children now also contain violent actions and wrong behaviours, which can make children not want to follow the rules or priciples of school and family; intend to bully their friends; avoid doing homework.

In conclusion, daily using computer makes harm to children in both aspects of physics and spirit so this habit should be limited by adults.
