Task 2- There are many things that young people today can learn from the older generation [closed]

Question

In today’s society some young people behave as if there is nothing to learn from the older generation. Many adolescents, however, including me, believe that the older people taught many useful things for younger people.

Firstly, life experience is one of the most useful things to receive from the old. For example, before deciding to choose university most of students often asked their parents or teachers to give their advices so that they realised what university is better. Another thing tender bamboo shoots can learn from old bambooes is important historical information. A good example is how to live through a war if the war happen, especially today there are many contradictions between countries on the world. Therefore, young people can not refuse good knowledge from the former generartion if they do not want to fail in successful and happy roads.

In conclusion, many young people, including me, believe that the youth is facing more problems due to changes of the modern age, so they need learn the former generation’s knowledge or experiences to avoid or overcome it effectively.

Mình từng nghe người ta dùng như thế này "As bamboos grow old, young shoots spring up"

Nhưng  ình nghĩ nên ưu tiên những câu tục ngữ của người Anh sẽ hay hơn là dịch những câu của mình từ tiếng việt :)
