More sports fans will see advertising when it is shown on television or displayed on stadium banners, which might result in more people purchasing the company's goods. Moreover, sports team or players sponsored by a company, they will be provided with free equipment as well as living expenses. As a result, sportsmen don't have to worry as much about money and can concentrate more on their sporting careers.
In addition to the advantages of sports sponsorship, there are several drawbacks that should be mentioned. It is easy to allow the terrible happen since the company’s reputation can be too tightly linked to a player’s reputation.
