The pie charts illustrate the consumption of water for three purposes in two different countries and the rest of the world. Overall, San Diego Country and California use water mainly for residential and industry. Meanwhile, agriculture accounts for the majority of three purposes in the whole world. 

The figures for the amount of water used in San Diego Country and California are 60% and 39% of total water usage, respectively. By contrast, the worldwide only uses a little for home, at 8%. The opposite trend can be seen that the consumption for agriculture globally is significantly high, at 69%, compares to 17% in San Diego Country and 28% in California. 

In terms of industry, the two countries and the global rest uses are relatively similar. The same percentage of industrial usage in San Diego Country and worldwide is 23%. While, the figure for California is 10% higher, at one- third of total usage.
