In this era, technology has pushed back the frontier of human's impossibility in a multitude of spheres, especially education. In the forthcoming, students may have several choices of studying at home through electronic gadgets or conventional ways at school. In my opinion, traditional classes are more beneficial for two reasons.
To begin with, attending school can offer students more chances to cultivate valuable skills that may be essential for them in further future compared to an online class. To specify, schools are mini societies that promote soft skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership through daily school activities. Indeed, pupils can socialize and interact face-to-face with other peers every day while online studying tends to be interrupted and not convey thorough messages. In addition, they can not only share their's feelings and thoughts but also demonstrate leadership through projects or assignments, which may create a confident and flexible person with a multi-dimension outlook. The more reality situations student encounter, the more mature he is. For example, if a student engages in practical activities at school, he will acquire first-hand experience and knowledge more efficiently than sitting in front of the screen.
Furthermore, another main reason is direct guides from lecturers can make learning easier and serious. In fact, lessons are likely to be more fascinating and accessible by teachers’ voices, eye contact, and multiple teaching methods. In contrast, when it comes to an online class, learners can suffer from eye strain by looking at the screen for too long, or feel disinterested due to the tedious atmosphere. Additionally, scholars can also be satisfied by the opportunities of exchanging more information and receiving greater care from tutors as they can ask any doubts. For instance, a student with weak academic performance will be taught more meticulously.
To conclude, there is no doubt that an orthodox style of the learning process brings more benefits rather than using the technology style of teaching. I hope studying at a traditional school is conducive for the next generation.
