Environmental protection is the responsibility of politicians, not individuals as individuals can do little. Do you agree or disagree ?

 These days, because our planet is worse on a single day, several nations' issues related to the environment are being paid attention to. Therefore, preserving the environment is not only in charge of politicians but also in each of us.

     Indeed, there are still tremendous problems that only the government can address. Firstly, in some specific situations, they can enact the law with an eye to deterring people who have intentions to harm the environment. For example, cutting down trees without permission's authority can be served time. Secondly, only the politicians have a large number of experienced scientists who analyse the huge amount of data about the reason and best solution to tackle this problem such as global warming, natural disaster. Besides, they can connect other countries to join hands and contribute money to look after our planet properly. Hence, only governments have sufficient funds and resources to invest in this.

      On the other hand, I believe that individuals have self-conscious actions. People can manipulate interchangeable environmental-sound methods such as using paper bags instead of plastic or nylon bags in many ways. We are able to create new things from recycling old stuff. Furthermore, buying more energy-efficient household items, cultivate more and more trees around or in the garden. To take the most effective result, I think that it should have cooperation between the two sides. For instance, if the farmer continuously burns the forest, regardless of the government's regulation, the climate will still dramatically change.

      In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I would argue that solving environmental problems is the obligation of both politicians and individuals.
