Many people say that going abroad is good for the home country student. In my opinion, I totally agree with this statement.
On the one hand, for students themselves, first of all, it helps to increase the confidence level of the students, meanwhile a lot of life skills such as communication and quick thinking. When studying abroad, most students have many opportunities to communicate, study and work with many good people, this will help students broaden their knowledge and more confidence in communication. Secondly, the opportunity to get jobs increases. When you have sufficient knowledge and skills necessary for the job, the chances of finding a good job will be very easy.
On the other hand, it is beneficial to the foreign student’s home country because after they have finished studying, they can choose to come back and contribute to their homeland. It is not what some critics claim that the best students never return to their country. After graduation, they will settle abroad and work in high-income foreign companies, so that they will not need to return to their country of origin. However, they can still come back and they should become a good citizen and contribute to their home country. For example, in Vietnam, Ngo Bao Chau studied mathematics in Oxford. After studying abroad, he was awarded the most prestigious prize of mathematics, the Fields Medal, in 2007. He returned to Vietnam, he established a mathematics academy in Hanoi that stands out from other institutions with an innovative approach borrowed from Western schools.
In conclusion, although the students decided to go to abroad, there are great advantages for the country of origin. Therefore, people should encourage them to study abroad.
