Recent years have witnessed the development of the internet in many fields, especially news, more and more electronic media appeared, so more people have read the news on the internet than before. However I side with the idea that newspapers will remain the most important source of news for the majority of people.
Firstly, newspapers is an official information sources which have has high precision since newspapers are published professionally with strict censorship. Thus, the information which people read will be accurate and reliable. On the other hand,when there are too much electronic media we can not control the quality and reliability that makes readers misunderstand about the problems. For example, when covid epidemic appeared Take the period covid epidemic appeared as an example, due to the proliferation of false/ illogical and incomplete articles, many people could not understand the actual situation. In Viet Nam people/residents misunderstood and believed that this epidemic could affect the production and quantity of goods, so they bought lots of stock which impacted negatively on their market.
Secondly, electronic media is not available for some/several objects such as : elderly people or people who live in remote areas. For the elderly, it is too difficult for them to learn or use modern equipment such as .... Besides, reading a document on an electronic screen can harm their eyes . Therefore, newspapers is the only way for them to update information conveniently. And with similarly people who live faraway they do not have opportunities to use modern equipment, Newspapers are almost the main source of communication cables.
In conclusion, reading news on the internet is still inconsistent and not really suitable in some situations. Therefore, newspapers will always play an important role in information transfering fields.
