The line graph illustrates the number of graduated students in Canada and the proportion of female and male students over a spanning period of 15 years starting from 1992.

Overall, the number of students witnessed an upward trend, with a significant increase seen in the number of female graduates, and the number of women students outnumbered that of men.

From 1992 to 1995, the number of graduates in both sexes shared broadly similar trends with a remarkable growth of 5000 students each. Subsequently, the number of men fluctuated, after having reached its peak during the period of 1995 to 2000 at 75 000, the corresponding figure dropped slightly to approximately 72 000. Adversely, after reaching the highest point in the first 3 years, the number of women graduating in Canada almost levelled off, decreasing from 105 000 to marginally above 100000.

In the last six years starting from 2000, the number of graduates leaped to its peak. The quantity of men graduates followed an upward trend and culminated at around 95000. This was nowhere near as great as that of female graduates with a substantial increase of 50 000 students, being the highest figure throughout the period in question.
