The picture demonstrates the process of producing chocolate. As can be notably seen, the creation of chocolate undergoes a series of steps from growing cacao tree to pressing inner part of the beans resulting in liquid chocolate.

For instance, as can be seen from the initial step, farmers grow cacao tree in S. America, Africa and Indonesia. After ripe red pods come into being on the tree, they are collected, from which cacao beans are extracted. Not only are the beans fermented on large leaves’ surface but they are also spread and expose in sunlight in order to dry. In the subsequent steps, only after the dried beans are gathered and put in large sucks are they transported to factory by either train or lorry. Only after the beans are roasted at about 350 degrees Celsius are they ground, whose outer shell is discharged. Subsequently, after the inner part is pressed, liquid chocolate is created and finally distributed to consumers.

A striking feature is that the exposure of beans to sunlight is essential to make the chocolate tasty.
