The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.

The chart illustrates the proportion of people in different ranges of age raising money to charity from 1990 to 2010 in British.

Overall, the percentage of people giving money to charity from 36 years old to 50 years old in 1990 was the highest. Whereas in 2010, that between the age of 51 and 65 reached a peak.

It can be seen from the chart that the figure of British funding money from 18 years old to 25 years old over the period of time still remained the lowest, which dropped to approximately 7% in 2010. Besides, there were sharply decreases in the percentage of people who gave money to charity from the age of 25 to 35 and 36 to 50 that the former declined about 8% and the same as the latter.

On the other hand, the figure of British people donating to charity between the age of 51 and 65 slightly increased over 20 years, from 35 percent to nearly 40 percent. Also, there was a slight rise in that over 65 years old to 35% in 2010.
