IELTS Task 2 - artists

Question

TOPIC: Some people think that governments should give financial support to creative artists such as painters and musicians. Others believe that artists should be funded by alternative sources. Dicuss both views and give ur own opinion.

 While it is believed by some that creative artists should be funded by government subsidy, others argue that the funding of these art projects should come from other sources. In my opinion, I believe that state funding should only be spent on essential art projects bringing about benifits and other artists can be financially supported by other sources.

 On the one hand, I agree that some works of art definitely require government financial assistance. Some art projects for public places such as streets or squares in the city centres that help create the distinctive characteristics for the cities need a great deal of money to carry out. Therefore, if governments support them financially, this monetary issue can be solved. Moreover, government investment in art projects will result in tourist attraction, as a result, will make a profitable return. On the contrary, without their funding, the city will be less attractive and interesting.

 On the other hand, there are some contrary arguments that state funding should be spent on more important concerns. It is true that government has to distribute their budget to many fields such as education, healthcare, frastructure for the country to function properly. Thereby, spending money unreasonably on some art projects can result in government budget waste. According to this group, artists do job like other professionals so the can earn money themselves by selling artworks or open exhibitions to get donation from art lovers.

 In conclusion, there are good reasons why government should support artists, but in my opinion, government should consider the critical level of this art projects before funding.

Bài này mình nghĩ bạn viết cực kỳ tốt rồi á, còn một vài lỗi cực kỳ nhỏ thôi, khi ban viết nên chú ý dừng sai ngữ pháp hay từ vựng nhé, mình nghĩ nếu như viết mà bạn không dính một số lỗi như vậy thì band tầm 7.0 , nhưng vì một chút lỗi nho nhỏ nên band rơi vào tầm 6.0-6.5 , mình cũng dự đoán thế thôi
