Given is the graph comparing the rates of tertiary education among young people in various different countries in three years 2000, 2005 and 2010.

 

Overall, it is apparent from the information supplied that the percentage of young people who attend college or university in all three countries A, C and D witnessed an upward trend while those in country B leveled out through the period of 10 years.

 

From 60 percent in 2000, the proportion of the youth who receive high education in country D climbed steadily to 80 percent in 2010, which stood at the highest rank. Similarly, the rate of higher education in country A saw a threefold increase from approximately 37 percent in 2000 to about 48 percent 2005 and 58 percent in 2010. It is interesting to note that while the tertiary education rate in country C experienced a slight increase from 50 percent to a mere 52 percent, this figure was the second highest overall.

 

In stark contrast, the percentage of young people who receive higher education in country B is much lower than other countries. In country B, 40 percent of young people gained higher education in 2000. Then this figure plunged to a negligible 2 percent in the next 5 years before going up to the same level at in 2000 10 years later at 40 percent.
