There is no need to attend a live performance (a play or concert) because seeing it at home on television is better. To what extent to you agree or disagree ?
There is a school of thought that due to the convenience and a wide range of channels on TV, people can indulge themselves with some demonstrations at home. Despite the satisfaction and being comfortable while sitting in the living rooms, this is not always true for some definite reasons.
Admittedly, watching a live show at home can be advantageous for those who want to entertain themselves without any charge required. Besides, the viewers can experience a performance with a closer vision and more various angles of the cameras than the ones who are at the scene of the show. Moreover, by enjoying the broadcasted version, people can also utilize their remote controls to switch between channels simultaneously so that they can decide which is the best show to watch. Thus, from the comfort of the armchair, the audience can witness all the appealing live performance at their own house.
However, if people want to relish a high-quality performance, attending live events would be more preferable. For example, if the audience are delighted with an amusing environment, live shows will help them to be in harmony with the crowd and cheering with full of energy. This is going to be an unforgettable moment, rather than watching on the couch but being interrupted by several short break adverts. Furthermore, for some avid fans who want to have a chance to connect with their idols, such as singers and sport players, they can pay for a live demonstration to support and show admiration at the live show, which will be an once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In conclusion, in spite of the coziness provided at home while watching TV shows, I am also in favour of a real-time performance at the stadium or studio - where people can live to the fullest with joy and happiness.
