The double line chart compares the fingure of both genders smoking in Someland throughout 40 year period since 1960.It’s clearly from the chart that the smoking rate of men declinded wheareas that of woman went up steeply between the year 1960 and 2000.Despite its fluctuation,the number of woman somking is fewer that that of men.

In 1960,600 man were smoking however this figure gradually fall and declined to 500 in 1975.It continually decreased and sharply drop to 300 in 2000.In contrast, there were 100 woman smoker in 1960 and then this figure went up dramatically and peaked at 320 in 1975.This number still fluctuated around 320 from 1975 to 1983 until 1984 it still dropped and declined to 250 in 2000.

In conclusion, as we can be seen from the double graph that the woman smoker tend to rise whereas man smoker tend to dip.However the rate of smoking in men was always at a higher rate than woman figures
