The line graph demonstrates the average number of Vietnamese students studying in three different countries over a period of 15 years, from 2000 to 2015.

It is clear that the average figure for students in Vietnam who were studying in American and France increased remarkably, while the number of Russia saw a small drop during the period. Overall, the number of Vietnamese international students in American experienced a tremendous jump between 2000 and 2015.

As can be seen from the graph, the Vietnamese student who went to France and Russia for studying had a striking similarity. Vietnamese students studying in France and Russia fell noticeably to around 2.5 millions and just under 2 millions respectively. Then, the end the period, there was an enormous to approximately 4.5 millions in the figure for Vietnamese students in France, comparison with a steady growth to around 2.5 millions in Russia respectively.

In 2000, Vietnamese international students in American were 1.5 millions, at the lowest comparison with France and Russia. By 2015, the students who came from Vietnam witnessed a dramatic  rise, reached the highest point at 5 millions.
