Today, childhood education is a topic that attracts great attention. Some people believe that the young should work individually while others hold opinion that they should collaborate with peers. In this way, I am going to discuss both sides and give my opion.

On the one hand, it is quite easy to understand the benefits of cooperation. Firstly, cooperation help children may acquire some special skills. They need to restrain the nagative feeling such as anger or annoyance when take part in teamwork and thus, they may know to communicate with others. In addition, to persuade peers can avoid unnecessaries and arguments. They have to learn about expressing their ideas clearly and convincingly. Second, cooperation greatly improve self-development of the young. Working with peers, children can have the chances to learn from the partner experiences. Thanks to cooperation, they may discover their strength and weakness from other advice and feedback.

On the other hand, competition also has a number of advantages. First, when working separately you will feel more comfortable than in teamwork. They do not have to argue with peers. Second, when working alone, they have to do everything on their own. For example, including some tasks such as collecting and analysing datas, writing report and making class presentation. This help they again more experiences and knowledges. By contrast, a cooperation intensive curriculum may encourage the development of nagative trait such as dependence.

In conclusion, it is clear that children should be taught both cooperation and competition.

It is an infinite concern among people about the right way to raise a child. While some people dictate the idea of rivalry on their children, others prefer helping them how to collaborate. In my opinion, the latter choice of teaching is more adequate.
