Nowadays, technology is having many breakthroughs leading to the popularity of electric media like e-book or Facebook. Seeing at these really fast developments, many people have thought that other older media such as book, newspaper and magazine will soon be lost in every people’s mind, while other claim that that form of media will never disappear. Personally, I think printed media now is not popular.

It is no doubt that electric media have made many noticeable processes recently. One of the largest advantage of this form of media is that they have incredibly fast speed in updating. It is also a big disadvantage of printed medias when the fastest  speed they can reach is only measure by days, much slower than speed of electric newspaper of social network when they can show the current affairs around the world immediately they occur. Another benefit is considerable storing ability in a long time that they can contain million of gigabytes of information throughout centuries without wearing out which is much larger and longer than printed media only storing a few of information.

                However, they also have drawbacks to their users. Light from screen will weaken our eye if we see at it in a long time. Furthermore, according to many scientists, electric radiation can make us cancer if we interact to them too regularly. Nevertheless, these bad parts are very small compared to enormous benefit they bring to us. Fortunately, we can avoid them by having goo d habit in using electric equipment and having a good lifestyle.

                To summarize, I think electric media will replace the printed media in the future whenever it is near or far in the public life. However, I strongly believe that books will be still stored and used in necessary situations.

On the one hand, News[SC5]  on the Internet grows in popularity owing to its potential benefits. People can have a quick access to the sources of communication and by many ways such as using mobile phones, computers or laptops[W6] . Thus, having more knowledge about what they need.[W7]  In addition to this, information that Internet provides us is objective because the Internet users are able to share their own opinions[W8] . Nevertheless, Internet is a very suitable environment to discuss anything. That is where we can give off our own ideas and receive many different views from others.[W9]

However,[W10]  it is undeniable that newspaper bring us many considerable benefits. The first benefit[W11]  that people can mention is that newspaper provides us with extremely reliable sources of information. Every articles which are available on newspaper have been carefully appraised by the publisher. Moreover, the people who write these articles are professional and experienced[W12] . Secondly, newspaper is suitable for all ages, especially elderly, who are not accustomed to using the Internet. Children can also read them in lieu of facing with a large amount of information that is not clear and perhaps, unsuitable.[W13]  Furthermore, newspaper also supply people with general knowledge. For instance, many businesses are in need of information that is related to their job and reading newspaper is such a reliable way to tackle that[W14] .

In conclusion, although the Internet has a large number of advantages and is becoming more popular, the newspaper will remain a important source of news, even in the Internet age.
