There has been a significant increase in advertising on television which appeals mainly to children. However, it is able to exert some negative points, and it should be in charge of governments and parents in some ways.

To begin with, advertisements on TV could have several harmful influences in children. Firstly, it is more likely that children will spend a long time on the screen of TV rather than leisure activities and study because these programs are pretty attractive with colorful and lively animations. Thus, they are easier to have an unhealthy body than other children who are fairly active in taking part in social activities. Besides, they definitely face with low performance at schools with the lack of concentration on study. Secondly, violent scenes of advertisements might be also one of the possible reasons resulting in an increasing number of juvenile delinquency.

Advertisements on television should be ruled by both governments and parents to curb and prevent a massive number of obstacles, especially with children. This could lead to reducing the number of time children spend on TV and stimulate their inspiration in other recreational activities such as playing football, taking part in social clubs so that children have opportunities to acquire knowledge and soft skills. If advertising containing violence is restricted, governments could reduce plenty of time and money in tackling problems related to youth crimes. Additionally, parental care plays an indispensable role in stopping their children from disadvantages of advertisements on TV.

All in all, because of drawbacks of this issue, governments should seize their power in dealing with them so that these advertisements are just healthy spare time for children.
