The pie chart illustrates the proportion of electricity which is used in an ordinary house in England.

At the first glance it is clear that the largest amount of electricity is using for warning up the rooms or heating the water throughout the year.

To keep warm for the rooms and water, they have to use more than a half amount of electric. Whereas, the figure for the kitchen appliants such as ovens, ketties, washing machines just account for 17,5%. This percentage is three times less than the percentage of electric consumed for heating the water or rooms in the house.

The last two factors in the chart share the same proprotion of the remaining electricity. They use a fifth percentage for household stuffs and the other 15%  account for the vacuume cleaners, food mixers and electric tools.
