My name is Truong Hoang Phuc. I am currently a sophomore at Da Nang University of Science and Technology (DUT). I am working on my Bachelor of Science degree of electrical engineering, department of Center of Excellence- Advanced Program, which have close relationship with University of Washington. Many years of hard working and strict training have nurtured me as a high quality undergraduate.
Due to my strengths of being able to work independently and eagerness to learn, I am fair easy to score pretty well with my technical subjects. Besides, I especially pay attention to practice in order to get actual experience. As an excellent team leader in subjects of Chemistry Lab 122, Physics Lab 123, EE Lab 124, and CSE 132, it have improved my communication skills and enhanced my leadership skills greatly as well. Moreover, participation in scientific research inside universities was attractive me strongly. I am studying the application of Arduino Uno R3 combined Module L298N to create an explored car which are able to remote control via wireless system. The presentation of scientific research takes place on April 26.
I found information about this training program- while surfing the internet. Interestingly, the content of this program will be what I learn in the next years. This is really a good opportunity for me to deepen my learning by exchanging with international students and get acquainting with new knowledge. Moreover, Korea is the ideal place for me to experience the Eastern cultural traditions such as Hanbook, Jeongjaemu dance, historical dynasties and Korean cuisine. In another hand, as an art lover and be socialize, I enjoyed to take part in English and Guitar clubs and international volunteer works like IRON MAN 2016 and DIFF 2017 alongside my part-time job. I am also very willing to participate in Chung-Ang University's extracurricular activities if I have a chance.
In conclusion, having a certain love for Korea associated with the passion for learning about electronic engineering, all of that prompted me to enroll in this program. I am a potential candidate for 2017 GKS for ASEAN countries' SCIence and Engineering Students
