Over the past few years, we have seen a considerable rise in the number of people travelling to some places or countries to enrich their knowledge about the culture while some people believe that it is unnecessary because we can learn easily from books, films and the Internet. It seems to me that people are able to gain knowledge form different means such as books, films and the Internet.

There are several reasons why it is not necessay to travel to other places to learn about its culture. First and foremost, this will result in wasting a bunch of money and time. For example, if you want to gain information about Africa, you have to travel to there, it will lead to you have your work delayed, you have to book a flight to Afica and so on. Spending a week or maybe a month in a different country is unnecessay and even impossible and you could not afford it. Secondly, some places you should not travel to like desert or Noth pole or South pole because it may causes dangerous for you.

In comparison, it has an easy and convenient way to broden your horizons and in modern technological society, it all availble on televions, books and the Internet. Now, it has a large number of programs on TV, articles or documentary films about people, culture and habit all around the world, people could learn about it anywhere, anytime with a smart phone or a computer. Moreover, this method is also resonable for your budget and allow you to economize on time.

For the reasons mentioned above, I believe that nowadays people can enhace their knowledge about the new culture from different modern means such as books, films and the Internet without travelling to other places.
