Some people think that there should be some strict controls about noise. Others think that they could just make as much noise as they want. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

While it is individuals’ right to create noise if they want to, I would argue that the government should propose a policy of banning loud noise in public places and in neighborhoods.

On the one hand, some people believe they can make as much noise as they want because of some reasons. Firstly, producing noise could be considered as a part of some artistic professions. For example, someone might practice singing music for public events, or making sculptures and art works require noise alongside with, and overall everyone has the right to do those things. Secondly, as modern technology has developed, nowadays people invent doors and windows which can block out the noise from outside. As a result these innovations could help individuals focus more on their study and work without being disturbed, and others don’t have to keep quiet anymore.

On the other hand, there are several reasons why noise should be strictly controlled. The first reason is that too much noise can easily cause some health issues. It could lead to headaches which decrease people’s health stability, especially the old ones. Furthermore, living in a noisy place will affect your work or study and it will create unsatisfying results. For instance, this student will not be able to concentrate on his study for exam if his neighnours keep making unnecessary noises.

In conclusion, while there are some reasons why people have the right to make noise, I strongly believe that the levels of noise should be limited to the extent that it will not affect individuals’ life.
