There is an opinion that urban areas should be covered by trees rather than constructing more buildings. Personally, I supposed that constructing buildings as essential as planting trees in cities.
Firstly, constructing buildings not only supply (singular verb...supplies) more homes and offices but also widen (singular verb....widens) more public spaces for planting trees. Along with the growth of population in the urban areas, building more houses will be an effective option to solve shelters for a large number of residents and reduce overcrowding. Otherwise, housing shortages (I think this should be "the housing shortage" because you just mentioned the deficience of houses, only one shortage) have significant impacts on community and environment. For instance, in 2008, 3% of houses (among amount of houses) in England were overcrowded with the risk of impairment of quality of life, health outcomes and life chances for their occupants (living quality, health outcomes and existing chances). Furthermore, this measure also saves more lands to use for public constructions such as roads and parks. When metropolitan areas have many open spaces, planting trees would become easier and simpler.
Secondly, with enough housing for citizens to live, green trees should be planted to regulate the temperature of cities. Urban trees have a crucial role to play in lowering temperatures by providing shade, reflecting sunlight and by evaporation. In addition, trees and vegetation are (is) most useful when planted in strategic locations around buildings or to shade pavement in parking lots and on streets. For example, researchers have found that strategic selection and placement of trees in cities can cool (lower) the air temperature by between 2°C and 8°C which could reduce heat-related stress and premature human deaths during heatwaves.
In conclusion, both urban trees and buildings play an important role in cities. When the city has buildings for citizens living, public spaces would be widened to plant trees.
(The two red lines I marked means I really do not know how to fix it. Hoping you find some useful ones.
Please help me correct my eassy in the same topic, I appreciate your any support.
The arrangement of planting trees in cities and towns has constantly evolved as a major debate among municipal officials in recent years. There are a number of citizens who subscribe to the viewpoint that plants should be instructed in open spaces in metropolitan lands instead of structuring houses. Personally, I perfectly agree with the auspicious conception.
There is no disputing the fact that sowing plants in many spare lands would lead to wasteful usage. Along with the rapid development of economics, a lot of immigrants emigrated in skyscraper cities to seek perspective opportunities which caused the dramatic expansion of population. As a result, administrative authorities should utilize open lands to designate apartment buildings in order to accommodate the large amount of urbanites that is tremendously ameliorating in nowadays. Another noteworthy supporting this standpoint is that when placing too many vegetables in downtowns and such grown trees are extremely high which will potentially change into dangerous resources while happening typhoons and other natural disasters.
On the other hand, I am persuaded that planting more trees in territories will create multiple merits for human society. The temperature and air conditions which are partially affected by surrounding places will be stipulated by green vegetables. Plants have compelling function in relation to filter carbon dioxide emission and generate fresh air that would support in improving health’s residents. Beside, green trees not only where preserve representative species for local locations but they also play indispensible role in the hindrance of flooding and torrential rigorous wind. Continuously, constructing amount of trees in open counties would have drawn beautiful landscapes for municipality.
In conclusion, although utilizing abundant lands for building houses for inhabitants is effective method, I am of opinion that planting as many green trees as possible in spare territories could bring about opportune advantages, typically in protecting people’s health and preventing natural catastrophe.
