Writing Test 2:
Both of the plan below illustrate the same island with many changes by constructing services for tourism development.
Look at the first plan, it is a desert island surrounded by sea. The island looks like a shoe’s side with a length of around 230metres and the western area’s width of 30metres and the eastern area’s width of 60metres. There are two positions having trees on the island, one cluster in the east and the other in the west nearby a beach.
Comparison with the first map, the second one shows a big change. Over two thirds of the island is filled west by tourist buildings while trees still are remained the same. Visitors accessing to the island through a pier in the south that divides construction space into two same size areas. From the pier, go straight towards the north, we can see a reception in the centre and then a restaurant behind it. Traveller can access to both of buildings following vehicle track. In the left, there are 6 bungalows surrounding trees and leading to the beach by a footpath. The beach is developed for swimming service. In the right, 9 bungalows are built on area between the centre reception and the eastern tree clusters. Bungalows are connected together by footpaths.

Morality is always the most concerned issue in society as human live in relationshio with other people. Solution of integrating voluntary social activities into a subject at high school was raised in debates. While it meets some disadvantages, I would argue that it provides much more positive aspects.
Firstly, social activities help build solidarity for young people. In particular, when young people take part in upgrading activities for the communities, they might well understand unity’s value that leads to a success in work and life. Secondly, the solution also foster the youth’s responsibility for society through first sharing with each other in small group. It is significantly important when there has rung alarm bells over younger and younger criminals in recent years. If students work as volunteer for the community services, their compassion might be reinforced everyday. It might be a key to decrease rate of crimes in young generation. Thirdly, I believe that participating in community services might help mature young students. Once they really throw themselves into communities, particularly the poor communities, young people will have an opportinuty to learn a number of priceless living skills as the poor have to continuously improve themselves to adapt to unsustainable circumstances. Group working also strengthen young students’ skills of listening to and accepting different ideas, that are two of the most important skills in life.
There are, however, some disadvantages. One of major argument is that learning load is too hard for administrative board to add any more activity in existing programme. In addition, it makes students neglect their academic studying as social activities are always more attractive. However, both of these downsides can be addressed strategically due to the solution’s benefits.
In conclusion, anything which promote the youth’s morality benefits society, and introducing voluntary community activities as a subject in learning programme contributes to this. This solution should be encouraged and put in educational development policies.
