Question

 

 

Topic: It is better to be unemployed in jobs rather than to be employed in jobs even if they don't feel happy or enjoy. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people think that without job they would be fine in comparision with being hired. However, it is said that “the devil makes work for idle hands” as unemployed people are likely to be useless and a burden for others; also they make more social devils and country can not develop. These are reasons why I really object to this statement.

First of all, while people with their job can make their incomes and serve their demands, people in unemployment could not create financial resources. As a result, they are not be able to nurse themselves and then become a burden for their family memers and society.

Secondly, under no pressure of job, with no money to spend and nothing to do, unemployed people tend to find something bad or illegal such as playing cards, football bet, prostitution and etc to entertain. This leads to social devils that could ruin a country they are living.

Thirdly, people with no job would spend an unmeaning life and have particular purposes to try for. Therefore, they would not want to improve their ability to be better. Consequently, they would gradually be unuseful.

On contrary, people who are performing a job would not only earn as much money as they could to exist without any burden of their family members, but also indirectly contribute to their nation’s development because they always gain more experiences and acquire knowledge to do well at their job.

In conclusion, “labour is a great honor”. People should have their own job to create their better life rather than live without making incomes. Otherwise, they would not create a bright future for themselves.
