Some people think that school should reward the students who show the best academic results, while others believe that it is more important to reward students who show improvements.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion
Giving reward is a most common way to compliment students on their attainments as well as motivate them to keep on their process. In my opinion, the value of students’ reward should be evaluated by their enhancements and educational results.
There are a large number of difficult challenges students have to face in order to make a real improvement. Firstly, it is certain that students require a great deal of efforts to better their educational performance due to the great difficulties of higher-level knowledge. Secondly, while youth is a perfect age to get attached to the external factors such as all-night parties, loving affairs, video game..., students have to be capable of dictating these distractions which demands a huge bravery. Otherwise, it will engender their wasting a lot of time. Lastly, to actually better themselves, students need to step out of their comfort zone seeking for a more positive method, which is very challenging to indentify. Thefore, rewarding is necessary to encourge these students to keep their progress.
However, the students who achieve the best academic results deserve the most valuable reward due to their continuously complex procress. To give an illustration, developing an all-round expertise in a subject necessitates various abilities from learners, ranging from a complete knowledge of theories to an old-hand in puting them into practice. Students are required to master a variety of subjects to actually stand out from the crowd. Furthermore, they have to maintain a persistent performance. In a highly competitive environment, a moment of unmindfulness barely result in his not obtaining the highest position.
On the whole, the prizes given to students should be a mirror of their deeds.
