Do you agree and disagree with the following statement?

Face-to-face communication is better than other types of communication, such as letters, e-mail or telephone calls.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

The world is becoming more and more developmental. Therefore, there are more and more ways to communicate apart from face-to-face, such as letters, e-mail or telephone calls. But to me, the good old-fashioned as face-to-face is always the best and being the most effective means of communication.

First of all, by face-to-face communication, people can look at people’s faces and also their gesture. This advantage hasn’t been fully developed by other communication. Instead of it, these communications are more focused on the ability to call or text which sometimes is very hard for people to express their ideas. While in face-to-face conversation, expressing idea is much more easy and convenient because talkers can also use their body language.

Second, face-to-face communications can help the listeners to identify the fact which has been given by the speakers. For example, in a face-to-face conversation, listeners can pay attention to body language such as if they are sweating or not. This is surely a benefit of this conversation which others don’t have. As you can see, there are many frauds on the Internet involved to chatting on the Internet.

In conclusion, there are many ways to communicate on these days, but, in my opinion, the best communicate is still the ways of our ancestors have used for millenniums, face-to-face communication.
