Museums and historical places are always attractive to tourists while local people find them less interesting to visit. There are many factors giving rise to this issue and a number of solutions for this problem will be shown as follows.

There are many reasons can explain why tourists, instead of local people come to museums and historical places. First of all, these location can provide many things for tourists such as culture or history of the country where they are visiting so they can understand more about a new tradition. Secondly, local people used to visit historical locations in their are at least once in their lives. Because normally these places do not changed thruogh years, these people do not find them interesting to visit again. For example the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh city has shown no development for more than ten years and the only targeted visitors are tourists who first visit the city.

There are numbers of opinions that can be used to tackle this problem. The main solution is change the local inhabitants' perception that these locations are not entertainment zones so we need to keep their appearances as original. However, the government can consider to repair and design these locations not only for monotonous activities such as exhibitions but also for many special anniversaries. These things will show the visitors all stories about our history when they come here. Moreover, our historians and journalists should write more articles about these locations to advertise them to more people.

To conclude, history is always improtant to everybody and only historical buildings and museums can remind people how magnamimous their countries are. Different options should be considered to regain local people's interest in these sites
