Dear Mika,

I have graduated from high school and I’m going to America to study at university. In addition, I would like to find a part-time job during my studying to ease the burden of finance. However, I’m a foreigner so I don’t know clearly about the details of a part-time job’s requests in your country. Therefore, I’m writing this letter to ask you for some advice about a part-time job which is suitable for an overseas student like me.

I’m not really busy studying because I just study every morning on weekdays so I can work in the evening and on weekends. As I mentioned in the beginning, I want to do a part-time job to relieve the financial burden because I have a huge cost to pay for living and studying here, so it gets better to have more money. Besides, I am very studious and an extrovert person. Therefore, I can adapt quickly with any vacancy of jobs, especially the job at fast food restaurants because I love fast food. I’d be so grateful if you could help me.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

Phuong Mai
