Dear Luke, 

 

I hope you are doing well in Canada. I am writing this letter to share with you that I have received a Letter of Acceptance from Douglas College. This school is located in the same city as you live. I am excited to finally be able to achieve my dream to study abroad. 

 

I get accepted into a Bachelor of Accounting program, which begins on September 5th, 2021. This program has a duration of four years, with a total of 96 courses. Douglas College informed me that I need to register the required courses by myself. I registered in four courses for the upcoming semester. 

 

I will arrive in Canada on June 1st. You might be wondering why do I come so early. This is because I want to explore and adapt to Canada. In addition, I would like to do a part-time job while I am studying. There are three reasons that I want to do a part-time job: practical experience, in-depth knowledge and connections. The practical experience from work will help me to get a better understanding of the Accounting field. In-depth knowledge of the Accounting concepts can be gained through the duties that I perform in the workplace. Finally, I can develop relationships with a supervisor, co-workers in Accounting field. I believe these relationships will be beneficial to me after I graduate.

 

I want to ask if you can help me find a job. One way you could help me is to look at job postings on local newspapers. Another way is asking your friends who might know if someone is looking for hiring. I am looking forward to hearing from you, Luke.
