The bar chart below shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart gives information about how many students chose university subjects in 2005.
Overall, the number of females chosen in Social Sciences had the highest rate, while the males who learned in Languages were the lowest.
According to the chart, males and females chose sciences to study about 22 thousand and 10 thousand respectively. In addition, the percentage of choosing Mathematics in males was some 18 thousand, whereas females had fewer students than males in this category. Law was also chosen by males more than females, approximately 10 thousand.
Additionally, females studied Social Sciences about 24 thousand, while choosing on this way by males was lower around 14 thousand. Moreover, the figure for choosing Languages in females about 18 thousand, was higher than males. Exceptionally, Humanities was the subject chosen as many males as females. In contrast, nearly 10 thousand females compare to the males, around 3 thousand, in the Arts.
