People have various views about whether animals testing for medicine is necessary or not. From my viewpoint, it is inhuman action to affect animal lives badly, in spite of the advantages it brings.

On the one hand, it is essential particularly when scientists try medicines on animals for humans purposes, because animals testing could achieve almost every medical breakthrough over the last decade. For example, chimpanzees, the closest relative of humans, have been used to investigate the advanced treatment for human disordered and cancer, and until now, there is still no better alternative. Although animals testing hurts numerous animals, it can save many human lives.

On the other hand, I agree that there is no pity to put animals in cages and treat them harshly since we can experiment in other ways. Firstly, people do not realize that the lives of animals should be respected and humans have no moral rights to test on animals. For instance, it is brutal to deprive food, water and even treat them with inhuman behaviors if it has just been done to publish papers. Due to the fact that animals have spirits and can feel pain like humans. In addition, other research methods can be done instead of hurting animals, such as computer simulation can be used in most cases. Thanks to technological development, scientists can advance medical knowledge efficiently without using animals.

In conclusion, there are people who believe that using animals in research has many unique benefits, but I still argue that animals do not deserve to be hurt by humans and there are alternative methods to test medicines.
