The two charts give information about the percentage of inhabitants for age groups in France and India in 1984.

Overall, it can be seen that France had older population than India. In addition, there was small different trend can be seen if we look at the specific figures for two nation.

in 1984, there was not much difference rate for age group under 35 in Fance, specially in the range of 3 to 4% for both male and femal. Moreover, each five year age bracket from 40 to 65 saw a similar rate, approximately 3%. The figure was 1 to 2% for people age 70% or older, this figure was higher than India, under 1%.

In India, close to 7% for age group under 5 for both boy and girl, this was also the highest rate population. However, each five year age bracket above this contained dcreasingly smaller proportion of the population, dropped gradually form 7% to 1% for the older age group.
