Some people think that environmental problems are too big for individuals to solve, while others think that the government cannot solve these environmental problems unless individuals make some action.

Some would argue that single person could not do anything when it comes to problems about the environment since they are the global concerns. However, there are people who think if individuals take action, they can address those problems constructively, which is also my point of view.

On one hand, people feel it difficult to solve problems related to the environment. There are a lot of reasons which result in the deterioration of the planet. Firstly, industrialization is one the main causes. Although the growth of it is extremely beneficial on people‘s life, our environment is dramatically spoiled. However, solving this is not a thing that single person can do. Another cause of the problems is the exploitation of fossil fuels. The world needs energy to operate and remain the industrial economy and the most efficient source is the fuel underneath the ground. Thus, the utilization of them is inevitable and individual cannot stop it.

However, from my point of view, people can address environmental issues if they work together. In spite of the seriousness of the problems, all the main reasons which lead to those are the behavior of human beings. Governments have the power to introduce laws to limit the hazardous waste from factories as well as invest money on finding and developing renewable resources of energy. In regards to personal responsibility, individual should be more aware how serious are the problems, and then take actions to solve them. People can make use of public transportation instead of private ones to reduce the exhaust fumes. Non- biodegrade plastic produces need to be replaced. Using clean energy is also an efficient way.

In conclusion, environmental issues can be addressed by the behaviors of individuals, by doing things which are mentioned above.
