It is often claimed that pursuing majors disciplines related to science or technology can definitely brighten your future. In my opinion, I believe that people should be free to study the course of their choice.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why colleges should only offer students the major subjects of the particular course. Obviously, advances in science and technology have such a substantial influence in on one country’s prosperity. In the era of technology,The Information age makes these developments are becoming become even more important, which leads to the necessity of more students profound in these fields. Also, students are told to choose these majors subjects because of owing to the higher chance of getting a well- paid job after graduating from universities. the certain benefits it brings to students who take them. Occupations related to Information Technology, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence, ect. offer applicants higher salaries, more job opportunities, career progression, and an improved quality of life after graduating from universities, and therefore attract a great deal of postgraduates.
On the other hand, it is my firm conviction that students should be encouraged to enroll in their dream majors study whatever they like. Firstly, It would stimulate their creativeness and enthusiasm. As long as students are passionate about what they are learning have enough stamina and passion for what they have chosen, they will certainly try their best to achieve their dreams. Furthermore, assimilating whatever the students like activates their creativeness and enthusiasm. For example, my mother takes great delight in learning new culinary skills and no matter how tired she is, she always wants to cook some dishes for us as she loves doing it . Besides Secondly, our societies do need experts in other fields such as business, tourism as well as art, ect. as well, which creates for a diverse economic environment. A focus on technology in higher education could lead to the serious limits and even standstill of other potential areas in a long time.
In conclusion, despite a variety of long-term benefits regarding to studying some particular subjects that can be advantageous in the long term , I strongly believe that students have their rights to pursuing whichever whatever they really want. wish.
