It is impossible to help all people in the world, so governments should only focus on people in their own countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?



In recent decades, the debate on the direction and focus of discretionary government budget allocations around the world has never been settled. Although some believe that indigenous people who need the most help from the government, authorities still can not ignore people from the rest of the world.


It has been true in many cases that prolonged poverty cannot be solved without the assistance from foreign governments. First, by frequently facing with nature’s wrath or dying crop, causing millions of deaths in any places annually. For instance, since the outbreak of coronavirus with characteristics from India and US variants has been more and more substantial impacts on human life in few days. In addition, to financial support, governmental organizations can help provide the education and skills for those citizens. This would have a variety of positive impacts on the society as there would be fewer unemployed workers, which also diminishes crime rate.


It is clear that many countries in the world still have not recognized fundamental human rights.

First, citizens of those countries are deprived the freedom and are oppressed in many inhumane ways. In fact, there have been cases in which employees are made to work extremely long hours, up to 16hours per day with only one brief break, which are paid too little , are not paid at all. Besides, since children do not have access to basic education of inequalities that originate in sex, health, and cultural identity. In order to enhance the standard of living, the richer nations should negotiate with each other to launch some long-term policies to close the gap between the rich and the poor.


In conclusion, governments can not ignore people living in distress from the rest of the world. By providing education and financial support, citizens around the world would be able to live a better life
