The pie charts give the information about USA’s average proportions in four main meals of three nutrients which affect negatively to people’s health

Overall, it can clearly be seen that the percentage of added sugar in snack is by far the highest. By contrast, the vast majority of sodium and saturated fat is consumed for dinner.

First of all, taking a deeper look into the graphs, in terms of breakfast, the percentage of saturated fat which is 16% shares the same figures with added sugar. In addition, the percentage of added sugar in snack which is 42% is twice as high as saturated fat in snack. Moreover, there is a big gap between the percentage of saturated fat and added sugar in dinner, 37% and 23% respectively.

Compared to saturated fat and added sugar, the percentage of sodium in snack is not significant, about 14% while people popularly consumed sodium in dinner with 43%. Besides, the percentage of sodium in breakfast is just a half of sodium in lunch, 14% and 29% respectively.
