As labour market and workplaces are now distinct and constantly change when compared with the past, individuals are required to adapt with changes and be aware of different working enviroment. In this essay, I will discuss the significant reasons and recommend practical solution dealing with transformation in future occupation. There are numerous reasons for career insecurity in contemporary workplaces. To begin, globalization and technological advancements have compelled many traditional industries to reduce their workforces. For example, tenacious and repetitive jobs such as accountants or bank tellers are being replaced by artificial intelligence in order to curb the significant spending on human resources. It is also self-evident that machines are capable of performing more complex tasks in manufacturing and management at a lower cost or with a higher rate of productivity. Additionally, due to the ever-increasing living cost along and abundant job opportunities, individuals are more inclined to seek financially rewarding jobs rather than low-paying ones. As is the case in Vietnam, people earning less than 4 million dong per month are unable to afford the costs of housing, parking, and eating out, particularly in large cities. As a result, certain methods are recommended to ensure that employees are adequately prepared for their careers. To begin, developing in-depth knowledge and participating in specialized training programs, as well as having hands-on skills such as IT or social marketing, are required. Effective preparation can boost workers' competitiveness, enable them to take calculated risks, and mentally prepare them for new opportunities. Additionally, it is critical to keep updated on global and labor market trends so that individuals can be aware of changes and make more informed decisions. For instance, jobs such as software developer, robotic engineer, and even nurse are likely to be in high demand in the near future. In conclusion, it is predictable and undeniable the continuous alteration in the global labour market and the demand for getting new workers due to the development of technology. However, emloyees now essentially prepare for the their future occupation and also be willing to encounter problems.
