While some people may argue that the most influential years of life are the teenage ones, others believe that time before beginning school would have the biggest impact on their future life. In my opinion, although the former may sound reasonable, the latter could hold stronger ground.
On one hand, experiences as adolescence would have an enormous impact on their later life. First of all, --> Firstly, due to making their own decisions in daily life, teenagers would bear the consequences of those choices, which enables them to become self-conscious. In this way, the cognitive development of children could be enhanced leading to mastering sophisticated social and emotional skills. Furthermore, their peers could have a significant effect on their future life. If teenagers fell in with the wrong crowd, for example, they would make poor decisions which have lasting results in --> might result in endured consequence in their coming times.
On the other hand, the time before entering school would be believed to be more important and influential years of a child's life. Firstly, during these formative years, children would spend the majority of time with their parents who could teach them rights from wrongs. This could mean that ground rules for behavior could be established. In contrast, without this action, it could launch children on a path of antisocial behaviors such as bullying, truancy, and rebelling against parents. Secondly, in the first six years of life, the neural pathways within --> of a child's brain would develop and strengthen at an unparalleled rate, which would be responsible for the determination of how well the children would perform and cope with life in their lifetime. According to a survey published by VNExpress Newspaper in 2019, for instance, well-adjusted kids believed that the neural development of reasoning skills in the formative years could be more 20% decisive than the other factors that influenced their future.
In conclusion, I believe that the most significant and influential years of a child's life is the time before receiving education when they could absorb the conventions and codes of conduct as well as developing the neural pathways.
